The Cubs could probably do really well trading Miguel Amaya, even think there's more optimistic outcomes doing that that trading Contreras especially to NL teams.* For me the Cubs haven't really cemented themselves firmly as sellers, more non-binary like the Rays since we're still talking moving 3 years on a 35 YO pitcher with some elbow stuff recent enough with the leap from 60 to much more in mind. Teams I think would be interested and make for interesting fits...:
Pirates: With Musgrove and Frazier on their ML roster likely available, maybe Reynolds the OF, they're not not a potential trade partner and have had great success with guys like Amaya in Russell Martin and Francisco Cervelli
Rays: Margot is arb eligible, Lowe has a multi-year contract above the league min. I wouldn't trade for any pitchers in that org with Snell out, both McKay and Bitsko having shoulder surgery
Seattle: Similar to the Rays in that there's some org talent (Torrens, Raleigh) at catcher, but they're flawed. In this case bat first catchers who may or may not hit. Amaya is a glove first guy who may or may not hit, kinda balances them out and even plays into their skillsets as teams shift towards 2 high use or 3 complimentary catcher setups. Cubs did it first with Ross/Montero/Contreras! Mariners are loaded with OFs and inexperienced but otherwise healthy and well regarded pitching (Justin Dunn, Margevicius, Newsome, Sheffield)
Royals: Perez is a FA soon and Amaya's offensive approach is inline with what Moore said the Royals were shopping for. The Royals have some outstanding SP talent in the org and they actually let them pitch: Lacy is the best college SP prospect in a while, Singer was probably the top guy in his year and already a ML SP, Bubic's a pretty sure starter so I don't think any of those guys but guys like Staumont, Bolanos, and/or Daniel Lynch
Phillies: Similar to the Pirates in that they've had alot of success developing catchers and likely aren't paying top dollar for their next guy, have an obvious platoon partner (Marchan) with complimentary skills like the Mariners...have pitching (Velaquez? Suarez? Romero?) + some close LHH MIF depth (Stott, Maton) and CF depth (Hasley, Moniak)
Rockies: Just drafted a switch hitting HS C in the first but otherwise not a whole lot of competition in this org for Amaya. As an aside they're also my favorite NL fit for Contreras with Rolison and Toglia/Lavigne+ should the Cubs actually go that route
Angels: They're loaded in the OF and lack a prospect at C, they and Seattle might be teams that offer the rare prospect for prospect trade (Adams or Trammell) even if there's other stuff going on
Red Sox: Amaya's not so dissimular current starter Vazquez who entered their org as a glove first guy, granted Vazquez as maybe considered the best defensive catching prospect. There's interesting players (Eduardo Rodriguez, Matt Barnes, Benintendi) but both orgs are being probably responsibly quiet
Miami: Speaking of Trevor Rogers
