I was wondering if anyone had either a video or audio clip of one of my favorite Cub memories ever -- GlenAllen Hill's moonshot to outerspace (which I don't think has landed yet).

I know it was a couple of years ago, but does anyone have an archive of this?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure Jon has a clip on his site. Just find one of his posts and click the link in his signature. I'm sure he'll reply to this thread also if he sees it.

I have Windowns ME which is horrible, but when I get redirected to the site the bottom of my IE says it has downloaded something as soon as it gets to the site. What is that about?

Not sure. Try right-clicking on the link and saving the target. It shouldn't download that quickly, as it is a 12.3 mb file.

Wow thanks Jon. This brings back memories of those mid to late 90's Cubs. You have anymore interesting clips hosted that you wouldn't mind losing bandwith over?

I have some more stored on a CD (mostly the 2000 season, I believe) somewhere, but I can't seem to find it right now. If I do find it, I'll post some more.

My 3 personal favorite hits of his are the one that is posted here, the one that broke a window in that same building, and the one where he was swinging as he was stepping into the box and still dumped the ball into right field.

I do know that I have the walk-up RBI on that CD. He was out of the box for about 15 seconds before nailing it into the outfield.

I click, after a downlaod period, my Windows Media Player opened. From there...nothing. Advice?

Try saving it to your computer. That should do it.

I forgot all about that until you mentioned it. Ha. What a crazy guy. Anyone know what he is doing now?

Wow thanks again. I love retro Cubs stuff (and by retro I mean 90's Cubs ). If anyone has anything from the 1998 season, I would be in Heaven. I taped Kerry Wood's 20K game (it was replayed during a rainout the next day) but I can't find it :(

One more that I already have on my webspace. This is a video clip of Kerry Wood's first AB back from surgery. He took Lima deep. I was lucky enough to be there that night. What a game.

I was there too... most electric game I had been at until Game 2 NLCS last year. What an amazing feeling that game was, I was for sure they were going to pull it off after that.

It was crazy. I just wish I could have stayed the whole game, but I was with my younger brother and it was a school night.

How about the Farnsworth fight, or the 2001(?) Guttierez game, the crazy scoring play, ya know to win it.

Don't have the fight. I do have the 2001 finish against the Rockies, but only in audio (by far my favorite Pat and Ron moment). You can find it on my sound page.

Well, just for that, I'll put up one more. How 'bout an inside the ballpark HR by Corey Patterson from 2000 (against the Cards). Look at how much smaller his upper body was back then.

LMAO, that is classic J.D. Drew! BTW, #27???

First HR back, great atmosphere, headed down with Neuby and a few others.

Come to think of it, my brother and went to the local ticketmaster outlet after school and got tickets. Pretty decent seats, although the guy in front of us couldn't exactly hold his beer down. I'll leave it at that.
