Anyone need a STH pre-sale code for the Monday Foo Fighters show? I have one I am not going to use. It starts at noon today.

I'd assume comments like this are jokes tweets from somebody that knows critiquing a guy like Crosby for "being political" is really dumb, but I was at the Roger Waters show and heard some very similar stuff and it was real.

People in general are dumb.

Drive-By Truckers have flat out said that they don't care if they piss off the red-necks, yet they still cry about it on the daily

I will never get tired of telling the story of the guy I heard at the bar at a Billy Bragg show complaining that it was "too political." Did he just wander in off of the street?

i once wandered in off the street into a twista show at HOME bar in arlington heights (i think?)...had no idea he was there. the door guy thought he recognized me and my friend as someone who had just gone out for a cigarette or something...was like "oh yeah i remember you two"

walk in, grab a drink, "oh, weird, overnight celebrity is playing (in 2012)..." continue walking to the back and horsefeathering twista is on the stage

The Cubs’ transaction list under Epstein and Hoyer reads like a work of fiction, a wish-fulfillment list composed in hindsight.

Pretty telling and hilarious that Dave spends the whole time with Slash and Duff while Axl is running around doing whatever.

Following rumors of his involvement first surfaced a few weeks ago, it’s been confirmed that Kendrick Lamar is working with Top Dawg Entertainment founder Anthony Tiffith to curate and produce Black Panther: The Album. It will feature songs from the film, as well as new music directly inspired by it, such as Black Panther’s lead single “All the Stars” featuring Lamar and SZA, which, by the way, is great.

The original Panther movie soundtrack had one of the best posse cuts of all time

But the album overall was a disappointment. I'd love to see a renaissance of the soundtrack. The 90s had so many great ones.

props to len on releasing his music to the public. even as a demo, it sounds good. snares are a little too upfront in the mix; curious if he used a drum machine or an actual drummer.

They kinda couldn't help seeming like an Irish knockoff of The Sundays, but "Linger" is still an absolutely gorgeous song:
