I don't know if this has been discussed, but Bryan Lahair is projected to be our best hitter

Pretty odd that he spends so much time talking about Wood and then doesn't even put him in the projected rotation.

i assume that might just be because the Bill James projections he's using have Wells & Volstad projected for full-time starting duty and just 72 innings for Wood

i'm not certain, but James might project relievers differently

Really? I mean, I could see not liking this - it's necessarily fluffy - but I've always been a big fan. Good writer, good perspective. Thoughtful, nice, etc. He's one of the few Granland writers I consistently enjoy.

Given the brevity I didn't think it was bad. It was a pretty good summation based in metrics, near as I can tell.

He's hit and miss for me. Too many misses to be a must read.

Yeah, same with me. I've enjoyed quite a few things from him, but he also writes a lot of stinkers.

i like him. he's a fun twitter account to follow, i always enjoy his podcasts, i liked the extra 2% and am looking forward to his expos book. i don't know if his analysis is as good as other former bp writers, but i still like reading him.

I'm more interested in what Jonah Hill has to say about this year's team.

He didn't really have much to say.
