I have never once gotten the impression the left has warm feelings for Avenatti.

didn't see mention of it here, but really excited my district is set to elect the first female muslim representative (running unopposed by GOP), and she horsefeathering kicks ass- full progressive platform up to & including promise to push for Trump impeachment, which is great to see a district trying to capitalize on getting rewritten all into a hard partisan tilt

recalling the 4+ years the right was ceaselessly branding Obama as a Socialist Muslim and now we just go & elect an actual one lol, thanks for the D+32 mapping i guess

my district is about to elect a guy who owns a million mcdonalds, worships trump, and literally sent out a press release bragging about trump's diet when the NYT did that story about him eating 3 filet of fish sandwiches a day.

Yeah, I'm super excited about this too. She seems awesome and I hope to meet her someday. Dems are definitely taking back the House, but I'm just not sure about the Senate. They really should take both, but we'll see.

Unfortunately, I just can't see impeachment happening unless something truly damning comes out from the Mueller investigation/report. Republicans won't turn on one of their own. Tribalism and partisanship is just way too strong.

I expect a 48 (+2)-50 outcome in the Senate with the Dems taking back the House. Agreed that impeachment will never happen.

1) Make election day a federal holiday.
2) Enact National Popular Vote.

I'm paranoid as horsefeathers but I am like 60% convinced at best we are actually going to get a free and fair election in November.

I assume that doesn't already factor in all the gerrymandering that has taken place as well as voter suppression?

Not including ordinary levels of voter suppression. The mysterious voting roll irregularities, as well as the outright official purges, will intensify until they get the result they want.

Tell em all about your last US House rep that now heads NASA. Something tells me Tim Harris wins though.

My US House district? The likely winner of the Dem primary actually has better than a 1% chance to win the general.

Then in a subsequent tweet he called her a dog. She responded by producing a recording of two other Black people in his administration talking about him using the N-word.

The idiot cannot keep his stupid lying mouth shut. He will never talk to Mueller.

But really, this is something everyone knew already.

It would be amazing if bringing in this reality show dunce is what actually brings him down.
