What in God's name??!

I'll bet you seven NSBBucks that he looked at his defensive WAR on Fangraphs.

More like, he has nine errors this year. And several other blunders that are holding him back. I admit he has the potential to be a fantastic defender. And has been pretty good. But not great. If you don't think his mental lapses are holding him back defensively, then I don't know what to say.

Holding him back? Sure, I can buy that. But he's still way above average.

I can't decide what I want to see more - how hard Javy swings against Chapman, or Szczur and Coghlan getting retired so Javy can end his night on a line drive double instead of the inevitable K vs Aroldis.

So because Cabrera is weirdly (which tends to happen on occasion with fielding metrics) 7th in baseball in UZR/150 this year, Rizzo isn't that good defensively...

Well, I said particularly good. I agree he is good defensively, but he's not special. And he could be if it weren't for some mental blunders.
