I still can't believe they put him right back out there as a starter, especially since their bullpen is not good and could use any help.

Yikes. Have to imagine that's probably it for him as a starter in 2018.

Matheny doesn't recognize it, but it's the best move for the Cards. As mentioned above, he could be a force in the bullpen.

His career high IP is 111.1 so he might be done as a starter forever.

Aliya Fowler is awesome.

I made one comment to Mark Saxon about that post and got Cardinals fans messaging and quote tweeting me. NOT ALL CARDINALS FANS!

The whole account is gold but this tweet was especially funny:

These two tweets need to be sent to every Hall of Fame voter in five years. It probably matter because a lot of them are stupid. But it can't hurt.

Michael Wacha has made 12 starts against the Cubs since the start of the 2015 season. He's given up at least 5 ER in 7 of them. He also gave up 3 ER in an inning the one time he faced the Cubs out of the pen. Oh and he gave up 3 dongs in his one playoff start against the Cubs.

Including the playoffs, since the start of the 2015 season, he's pitched 12.0% of his innings against the Cubs and given up 23.9% of his ER against the Cubs. 30.6% of his HR have been given up to the Cubs. He has an 8.03 ERA against the Cubs and a 3.48 ERA against the rest of the league in that time.

This was said during Saturday's Cardinals radio broadcast. Nevermind that their patron saint is the all-time leader.
