Theres this place in the South loop that is kind of a polish/Italian mashup menu and they have a dish called ravirogi. Basically perogis in a vodka sauce.

They also have an awesome Italian beef pizza.

Hot damn, I know where I'm going when I'm back in Chicago this summer. Thanks; this looks awesome for the loaded cheddar waffle fries alone.

I will also have to try this place, the concept of having Polish food with Pizza is something I must have, with the waffle fries as the app.

The pork wings are phenomenal as well. But do not ever get the Polish pizza. Sauerkraut does not work on pizza.

That sounds horrifying. Although, the Polish platter sounds great.

Yeah, the mashup pizzas do NOT sound/look good, but the pirogi platters and those pork wings look fantastic.

The Italian beef pizza is fantastic. I mean it's basically a beef sammich where you replaced the Italian loaf with pizza crust and added marinara sauce, so it's not that crazy.

A good batch of McDonald's fries is horsefeathering amazing. It's the only non-breakfast food I ever crave from there.

Anyone been to wildburger in Des Plaines? I'll be going to a Chicago Dogs game and was thinking of stopping there before.

That abomination right up there is the cotton candy hot dog, a depraved and frankly unsightly creation that could only have been the work of a focus-group of tweenaged maniacs who’d just snorted a raft Pixie Sticks. It’s quite the elevator pitch: “a hot dog, but the bun’s been replaced by a cotton candy exterior, and the ketchup and mustard are now Nerds™.”

Not sure if anyone is a fan of Rhett and Links Good Mythical Morning show, but the other day they took standard Chipotle ingredients and went out and bought the most expensive versions of it they could find to make the most expensive meal possible.

Then after they took all the leftovers and make a huge tray of nachos with it

Not sure if these qualify as monstrosities, or if theyre just absurdly extravagant

Arby’s will start serving a seared duck sandwich starting this Saturday, Oct. 20. According to a press release, the duck breast is cooked sous vide (!!!), with crispy onions and a smoked cherry sauce. Here’s the asterisk: It’s available only in 16 locations, at Arby’s “within markets in the four ‘waterfowl migration flyways’ across the country (Atlantic, Central, Mississippi and Pacific).

Much like with other protein such as lobster, clams, wild game in general, etc., there are certain meats you just shouldn't even entertain eating from a fast food place. Duck is certainly one of those. Then again we're living in the generation of gas station sushi so maybe it'll be a hit and I'm just wrong.

It's weird that duck generally has a rep as a classy food bird, when they're such gross trash monsters.

And what was up with Victorian folks acting like eating a goose was a big deal? I imagine a cooked goose tastes like a spiteful bagpipe filled with greasy poop.

I never had duck until I was in my twenties and it's pretty much my go to now for non steakhouse dinners out. It is glorious, when done right.

I've had more than one person tell me goose, especially some of the ones done in Singapore, are simply the best meat of any animal they've ever had. I know Anthony Bourdain said that goose was his absolute favorite, even above his beloved swine. That said, I haven't even the slightest idea where you'd get one in America outside of prepping it yourself.
