Scam Sites
The last two days, I’ve been frequently rerouted to one of those Amazon Scam prize sites. This happens on mobile only (Safari on iOS)

Re: Amazon Scam Site
Weird. If the site as a whole were compromised, it would be happening on all platforms. So I'd guess it's a function of the ads being served. However, the only ads I'm running are from Google Adsense. I'll report it to them.

Re: Amazon Scam Site
I haven't seen this here, but I have seen the same thing on and off at Fangraphs recently, really annoying because they put so many redirects that sometimes it's really difficult to even use the back button. Seems most logical that it's a rogue ad or two.

Re: Amazon Scam Site
I’m pretty sure it’s a Mobile Safari issue that keeps getting worse across many websites. Fangraphs was also the first place I started seeing it frequently.

Re: Amazon Scam Site
It's usually a rogue ad that finds its way into Google Ads that a quick report takes care of

i'm kind of glad the cubs lost tbh because it's much more fun to read threads about amazon scam site than the cubs

don’t sell it short, it’s also more fun to reload nsbb over and over until you get the scam site and then go there and give it your amazon password and social security number and bank account information than it is to think about the 2018 cubs

I get them from time to time, too. Clear all your history and delete your cookies. That usually does the trick for me.

If it's only happening on your phone, your phone is almost certainly the issue. Not the site.

That’s not true at all. It only happens on this site, and there are plenty of bad ads that get through Google Ads that target mobile apps.
Tim just needs to report it to his ad providers and that should take care of it.

I’m getting “dear iPhone user” ads lately. And only when browsing this site.

Re: Scam Sites
Until very recently I've gotten a ton of Right Wing propaganda pop ups on this site. Things like, "Is the media fair to Trump? Take this quiz!".

I keep getting redirected to Porn4less on all my devices. Just a heads up Tim, my wife is going to PM you.

How mad can she be? Sounds like it’s a good deal. I’m tired of these overpriced porn sites tbh
