Jesus. Have we really descended to the point of pining for a squished version of Jake Fox?

Seriously?

1) He isn't keeping this up.
2) Remind me again...who got the last out of the world series and how did we get him?

He had nowhere to play on this team, at the time his defense was pretty awful, and we traded him for a decent swingman who also CLOSED OUT GAME 7 OF OUR WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONSHIP.

I'll always like Vogelbach for being a good sport and enduring this rookie hazing lol.

Does anyone remember which poster suggested the Sweeney extension?

Not saying it will happen, but the Cubs coming back from a 3-1 deficit to win the World Series does seem like the appropriate way to cap off this season and make the 30-for-30 even better.

I never stopped pining for him. Not because he's good, but because he'd be entertaining.

He homered today and his wOBA dropped lol

But seriously Vogelbach has always been a good hitter. For a few seasons there it appeared that he wouldnt reach his power potential but he was still posting elite BBK, swing and miss was never a plaguing issue, and everyone knew the power would eventually come. He should be able to post like a 375 wOBA or something close.

This dude's probably wondering why we didn't just keep Bryan LaHair after he put up a .885 OPS in 69 PAs in 2011 and a 1.243 OPS through his first 103 PA's in 2012. I mean, LaHair even got an All Star nod! Should have given him a lifetime contract.

Of course he hits home runs in consecutive games immediately after my post.
