Did they just set up a Thunderbolts movie at the end there between The Ghost and Goliath?

It was alright, but not as good as the first one. They had too many competing (but mostly aligned) interests and didn't balance them well.

Hoping this shines some light on Boots from The Coup. He's dropped so much good music over the years and mostly has not gotten the props he deserves.

That sucks. I really enjoyed the first one. I knew this one wouldn't be as good when Denis Villeneuve didn't come back to direct the sequel.

Ant-Man and the Wasp had a big Avengers 4 clue....

Spoiler: show
In the post credit scene, before Scott goes into the quantum realm, Janet warns him of some things to beware of, including the "TIme Vortex".

Seems likely this is going to be a big part of restoring the "snapped" heroes.

yeah i randomly re-watched ant man 1 at the gym right after seeing infinity war, and paul rudd's absence+quantum realm stuff or wahtever made it pretty obvious he's the clue

I finally got around to watching Ready Player One. It was basically just a vessel for endless nostalgia, but it was good at it. Not a great movie, but an entertaining one nonetheless.

Scarlett Johansson will no longer star in “Rub and Tug,” an upcoming film about transgender massage parlor owner Dante “Tex” Gil, after swift backlash followed the announcement of her casting.

“In light of recent ethical questions raised surrounding my casting as Dante Tex Gill, I have decided to respectfully withdraw my participation in the project,” she wrote in the statement. “Our cultural understanding of transgender people continues to advance, and I’ve learned a lot from the community since making my first statement about my casting and realize it was insensitive.”

While I would have loved the opportunity to bring Dante’s story and transition to life, I understand why many feel he should be portrayed by a transgender person, and I am thankful that this casting debate, albeit controversial, has sparked a larger conversation about diversity and representation in film,” she continued in her statement on Friday. “I believe that all artists should be considered equally and fairly. My production company, These Pictures, actively pursues projects that both entertain and push boundaries.

“We look forward to working with every community to bring these most poignant and important stories to audiences worldwide,” she added.

That's a really classy response, not that I expected her to be like "You know what? horsefeathers you horsefeathers, I'm out!"

she was kind of like that at first

UPDATE: Scarlett Johansson issued this comment to Bustle via a representative: "Tell them that they can be directed to Jeffrey Tambor, Jared Leto, and Felicity Huffman's reps for comment."

plus she could have learned from the whitewashing controversy and not taken this role in the first place

Let me start by saying that pulling out of that movie was the right move for her. The role should go to a trans actor.

That said, I understand her snarky statement. Tambor has won awards for Transparent, but she's history's greatest monster for taking this role? I can see how she would be annoyed by it. It feels like a double standard.

Of course if Transparent was casting for it's first season right now, Tambor may have been criticized as well, who knows

she did get horsefeathers for playing the lead role in ghost in the shell which was whitewashing no matter how you slice it. call it lack of self-awareness or just straight up ignorance, she stepped in this pile of horsefeathers herself and has only herself to blame.

That thing we thought was official a while back is now official....again...

Disney has won the war for 21st Century Fox.

Comcast announced Thursday that it will drop its pursuit of the 21st Century Fox assets that it was fighting over with Disney.

Trailor for Teen Titans is out and it's literally and figuratively dark as a coal mine.

Yeah but it's not a movie, it's a tv series for the DC Streaming service that's going to be starting. They're also working on a Stargirl series, and a Swamp Thing series.

His tweets are pretty awful, but they are obviously being made in jest by an edgelord with an awful "drunk guy at an open mic" sense of humor.
