He was pulled in the 4th inning of the Iowa game. Per multiple sources on twitter, he's expected to be in the Chicago lineup tomorrow (Tuesday). Any guesses on a corresponding roster move?

The corpse of Adrian Cardenas is still in Chicago. I assume he's going down.

I think that Cardenas is out of options and they'll probably want to hang on to him. If I'm wrong about the out of options part, he'd be the one to go. If not, they could either DFA or or trade for a PTBNL any of Baker, Valbuna, Mather, Johnson, or even a reliever.

So is this the thread where we all post our expected slash line for Rizzo so that we can pull up said thread in October and make fun of the people who were far too optimistic / bullish on the kind of numbers he's going to put up in half a season coming from the PCL? I need guidance here, guys.

In a perfect world, they cut their losses on LaHair's hemorrhaging trade value and make a deal that frees up the spot. Outside of that, Mather, Baker, and Cardenas are all varying levels of redundant on the roster. Wouldn't be surprised to see Mather DFA'd.

I just hope all the fans/media are patient with him. I could see him striking out in his first AB and some idiots booing him or being off to a cold start and calling him a failure.

I would rather see them get more for an overvalued LaHair than anyone else but my guess is Baker.

Rizzo's Iowa MLE: .286/.331/.548/.859

Rizzo's Total AAA MLE: .279/.331/.524/.855

Either of those lines would be 8th among qualified 1B(7th really, because LaHair is just biding time).

ML or NL?

If TT is using the same MLE calculator I typically use, NL/AL is not an option.

Edit: I cannot parse simple questions.

MLB. Votto, Konerko, Encarnacion(what?), Goldschmidt, LaHair, Dunn, and Fielder are all .870+. LaRoche(.837), Napoli(.807), and Hart(.803) are the only other qualified guys above .800.

That's pretty much around what I was expecting...possibly a little bit higher OBP, but I think the SLG and BA are right on.
