The wife and I just binged the first season of Ted Lasso and I really, really loved that show. Really excited for season 2 in July.

Okay, I've seen enough talk about Bosch to make me curious.

Is it legitimately well-written like The Wire and Justified? Or is it just another fun popcorn show like Bones or Castle or whatever?

If you're a dad, then you'll love Bosch and all his Boschy ways.

I’ve read a lot of the books and they’ve done a pretty good job updating the characters for the TV series and weaving in story lines from the books. J. Edgar is much older in the books and not as prominent a character. Bosch is a Viet Nam vet in the books who suffers from PTSD form being a tunnel rat. I really like the show and I think Titus does a great job capturing the character.

Just started it a couple days ago. In the past month, I have been to Philly twice, finally caught up on the Kroll Show (pawn shop guy), and been visited by family from the Philly area. I'm going to need some accent detox when this is over.

I haven't seen the show yet, but it looks like it has a Mystic River/Sleeper feel to it.

Yeah, really enjoying it. I'm a sucker for a good whodunit. SNL's parody of it the other week was pretty spot on.

Who is the killer talk...
Spoiler: show
An article from Vanity Fair has me fairly convinced that John Ross, the best friend's husband and Erin's dad's cousin, is the babies father and therefore probably the killer. I think the Deacon Mark and Dylan stuff is all to throw us off the scent.

If there's one thing the show excels at, to an almost annoying degree, it's...

Spoiler: show
Including massive plot development points out of nowhere with no previous indication there was something fishy going on

10 episode final season that apparently will be broadcast 2 eps. b2b for 5 weeks, with the series finale airing September 9...nice touch there.

Yeah, I was very pleasantly surprised to find pretty much every Adult Swim show on there.

And their general selection of other TV shows is really surprisingly varied.
