I've seen a lot of worse-quality movies over the last two years, but none of them were nearly as annoying to me.

legitimately ban-worthy take

No horsefeathers. Yikes.

If I hadn’t seen who posted it, I would have guessed Tom or CubinNY

Now you all are just being mean. I stand by every word. That movie was garbage. The more I think about it the more I hate it. Mike Francesca is in it ffs. I mean, was I supposed to be rooting for Sandler (or anyone really) at any point?

Lol, Derwood. That is horsefeathering hilarious given your history, just in this thread. Never mind the rest.

saw promising young woman last night since you can rent it for 6 bucks instead of the $20-$30 day of release scam they've been running lately

pretty good flick! the
Spoiler: show
smothering scene was about as brutal a thing i've seen on film in a long time, makes the scene in basterds where landa strangles van hammersmark seem tame in comparison

How COVID has changed me: I saw that "Nobody" was a theatre-only release and was super annoyed that it wasn't also on HBO MAX

What was the last movie everyone can remember seeing in theaters?

God help me; I think mine was Cats.

Last January or February my theatre did an Oscars day thing on a Saturday that showed all the nominated shorts, Ford vs Ferrari, Parasite and Once Upon A Time. I’m fairly confident that was the last time for me.

I think I lucked out and my last theater movie was 1917. HOWEVER, my second to last movie theater experience was getting dragged to the horrific Like A Boss.

My last in-theater experience was Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker,

Prior to that, I had watched about the first 20-30 minutes of Frozen 2 with my eldest, as that was her first theater experience -- and we had to leave early because she couldn't behave.

At first I though it was Endgame, checked and it became Crawl (awesome), but then double checked to find Ready or Not (also a blast) came out in August 2019. I'm not not proud of that in this context

My dad was in town sometime in Feb 2020 and wanted to take my kids to a matinee. Somehow the only movie anyone could agree to watch was that Harrison Ford movie “Call of the Wild”. It was ok I guess but if I knew the world was going to shut down for a year I might have pushed harder for a different movie

I don't make it to the theater a ton either. I think mine was Downton Abbey though. I had planned to go watch Rise of Skywalker at some point around Christmas and never got around to it.

Cause my life is dope and I do dope horsefeathers.

[The sound of fastballs] was one of those things that told me my pitches were fast....because I've never heard pitches as loud as mine.
